On 10 April 2012, Jeff Vernon, a PDMR, exercised options over Rathbone Brothers Plc Ordinary Shares of 5p granted under the Rathbone Executive Share Option Scheme 2000. The market value at exercise was £12.65 being the closing mid market price on 5 April 2012. The shares allotted were registered in the name of Rathbone Nominees Limited.  The shares were sold on 10 April 2012 at £12.5096.
