Pittards plc (the Company) was advised yesterday, Monday 18 September 2000, by
Grainton Ltd that it had acquired a further 350,000 ordinary 25 pence shares
in the Company, giving a total holding of 1,480,000 shares which represents
6.79% of the issued share capital.
