Deputy Manager appointed to Pacific Horizon Investment Trust PLC

Baillie Gifford & Co, the independent investment partnership, announces today that Roderick Snell has been appointed as Deputy Manager of Pacific Horizon Investment Trust PLC.

Roderick graduated BSc (Hons) in Biological Sciences in Medical Biology from the University of Edinburgh in 2006.  He joined Baillie Gifford in the same year and worked in the UK and European Equity Teams before joining the Emerging Markets Equity Team in 2008, covering Asia Pacific equities.  He was named co portfolio manager on the Baillie Gifford Pacific Fund in June 2010 and has been sole manager since April 2013.
