Orbit appoints new non-executive director to its Common Board

Orbit Group Limited (the "Group") has announced the appointment of Tracy Sheedy as non-executive director to its Common Board from 1 February 2026.

 

Tracy's appointment further enhances the effectiveness of Orbit's governance structure, to strengthen its oversight and guidance across both day‑to‑day operations and its long-term strategic approach to support the delivery of its 2030 Strategy.

 

Commenting on Tracy's appointment, Stephen Jack, Group Chair, said: "We are delighted to welcome Tracy to our Board. I'm confident that her expertise, particularly in the People, HR and engagement space, will complement the range of strategic capabilities of our existing board members, to ensure we can effectively guide Orbit in delivering on its 2030 ambition to provide amongst the best customer experience of any housing association in the country."

 

Tracy is an experienced executive and non-executive director, having held roles across the not-for-profit, chemical, medical device, technology and manufacturing sectors, alongside three years as an independent committee member at Orbit, holding positions on its Governance and Nominations Committee and Remuneration Committee. Her expertise includes culture and engagement, diversity and inclusion, talent management, international HR, sustainability, M&A and divestments.
