Optare wins €3m Netherlands order

Optare is pleased to announce it has received confirmation that the Company has won a €3 million order for 25 Optare Solo midi buses from Syntus, one of the leading integrated public transport providers in the Netherlands. As referred to in recent announcements, the Company has been working hard to develop export opportunities following the success of demonstration fleet trials in a number of new markets.

The Board expects to receive the formal contract within the next few weeks.

Commenting on the contract win, Glenn Saint, Optare's commercial director said, "This order represents our largest export order as Optare and is particularly significant since it involves the supply of buses into one of the most sophisticated public transport markets in the world."
