DIRECTORATE CHANGE

Northern Venture Trust PLC ("the Company") is pleased to announce that at a board meeting held on 13 February 2013, Mr Tim Levett was appointed to the board as a non-executive director with immediate effect.

Mr Levett is aged 63 and is executive chairman of NVM Private Equity Limited, the Company's investment manager, which he co-founded in 1988.  He is a non-executive director of Northern 3 VCT PLC and of several unquoted companies.

Mr Levett has a beneficial interest (including the interest of a connected person) in 312,488 ordinary shares in the Company, representing approximately 0.41 per cent of the Company's issued ordinary share capital.

There are no disclosures to be made under paragraph 9.6.13(1)-(6) of the Listing Rules in relation to Mr Levett's appointment.
