Mothercare plc announces that on 22^nd and 23^rd November 2011, Alan Parker, executive chairman of the company, purchased 98,573 and 51,827 Mothercare ordinary 50p shares at a price of 135p and 132.25p respectively per share.

Following this announcement Mr Parker holds a total of 210,400 ordinary shares equivalent to 0.237% of the total voting rights of the company.
