The Board of Elderstreet VCT plc announces that the Company has sold the whole of its holding in Wessex Advanced Switching Products Limited for a cash sum materially in excess of the previous carrying value.

Following this transaction, the Board estimates that the Company's unaudited net asset value per share has increased to 92.6p per share at today's date.
