Mercia Asset Management PLC (AIM: MERC), the proactive, regionally focused private asset manager with over £2.0billion of assets under management, announces that it has received notification of the following transaction relating to Ordinary shares of £0.00001 each in the capital of Mercia ("Ordinary Shares") by a Director and PDMR of the Company as follows:

·    Janine Nicholls, Non-executive Director and Audit & Risk Committee Chair of the Company, became beneficially interested in 73,229 Ordinary Shares. These shares were bought at 27.90p per share.
