Jangada Mines plc ('Jangada' or 'the Company')
Director Change
Jangada Mines plc (AIM: JAN), a Brazil-focused natural resource development company, today announces that Nicholas von Schirnding has stepped down from his position as Non-Executive Director of the Company as of 1st September 2026.
Following the successful establishment of the Company's new strategic direction, focused primarily on the development of gold projects in Brazil, and the positive completion of its Stage 1 exploration at the Molly Gold Project ('Molly'), Nick has decided that this is an appropriate time to step down from the Board to focus on his other business interests.
Brian McMaster, Chairman of Jangada, said: "I would like to thank Nick for his significant contribution to Jangada over the years. As a valued member of the Board since the Company's inception, he has played an important role in its development and progress. With our strategic transition to gold now complete, supported by the recent positive results from Molly, Nick has decided that the time is right to focus on his other activities. He remains a supportive shareholder and a valued friend of the Company. I have greatly enjoyed working with him and, on behalf of the Board, wish him every success for the future."
