The Board of Irish Continental Group plc announces that Peter Crowley, having served over 9 years as a non-executive Director and most recently as the Senior Non-Executive Director, has retired as a Director of the Company with effect from 22 April 2013.

The Board would like to thank Peter for his valued input over the past 9 years which has contributed greatly to the development of the Group. The Board wishes Peter well for the future.

As a result of Peter's decision, the Board is pleased to announce that Brian O'Kelly will succeed Peter as Senior Non-Executive Director.
