The Board of Irish Continental Group plc is pleased to announce the co-option to the Board of Brian O'Kelly as a non-executive Director. The appointment was effective from 14^th January 2013.

Brian is Managing Director of Goodbody Corporate Finance, one of the leading corporate finance houses in Ireland. He has over 20 years experience in corporate finance and stockbroking and has worked on some of the most significant transactions in the Irish market. He is a member of the Listing Committee of the Irish Stock Exchange and is an executive director of Ganmac Holdings, the parent company of the Goodbody Group. Previously he was a director of ABN Amro Corporate Finance having qualified as a Chartered Accountant with KPMG.

There are no disclosures required under Listing Rule 6.6.13 relating to this appointment.
