IQE plc has today been informed by Dr Drew Nelson, CEO, that he has transferred 1,505,000 Ordinary Shares to family members on 4 April 2013 for nil consideration of which 1,000,000 have been transferred to a connected person.  Following these transactions, Dr Nelson's interest in the Company is 29,325,132 Ordinary Shares, which represents 4.54% of the voting rights in the Company.

The Ordinary Shares referred to above are the ordinary shares of 1 pence each in the Company.
