Midlands, B70 OJE, has sold a total of 525,000 Inchcape Plc ord shares.

Our client now holds in total 9,609,000 ordinary shares which represent 10.88%
of the issued share capital.  The registered holder of the shares is Brewin
Nominees Limited.
