New Orders for MDXi-400 Industrial X-ray Inspection Systems

Image Scan Holdings plc (AIM: IGE), the specialist provider of X-ray screening systems and security inspection technologies, is pleased to announce that its wholly owned subsidiary, 3DX-RAY Ltd, has received two new orders for its MDXi-400 X-ray inspection systems from an established customer in the automotive manufacturing sector.

The systems will be installed in Korea and Brazil and will support quality assurance and inspection processes for catalytic converter production.

These orders underline continuing demand for advanced industrial X-ray inspection technology in an automotive supply chain that remains active despite the broader transition towards vehicle electrification. Internal combustion engine manufacturing remains a significant global industry, and manufacturers continue to invest in production and inspection systems that help ensure the quality, consistency and reliability of catalytic converter components.

These latest orders will bring the number of 3DX-RAY systems supplied in this application to more than 65 worldwide.
