Statement re Project Finance

Kedco notes the press comment yesterday in relation to financing from Ulster Bank for its biomass power projects.  The Company confirms that, as announced on 3 November, Kedco has been offered a project finance facility by Ulster Bank Group ("Ulster Bank"), a subsidiary of the Royal Bank of Scotland plc, to provide secured debt facilities in respect of the Company's biomass electricity and heat generating plant in Newry, Northern Ireland.

The Company is exploring financing options in relation to other projects within its portfolio.
