Filtronic plc (AIM: FTC), the designer and manufacturer of advanced RF solutions for the space, aerospace and defence, and telecoms infrastructure markets, has been awarded an $8.0m (£6.0m) contract to develop, manufacture and qualify a range of high-performance system level products.

 

The contract commences in March 2026 and is expected to complete in 2027.

 

Under the agreement, the Company will design, develop, produce and qualify amplifiers, expanding the Company's offering in satellite communications. Filtronic will incorporate its proprietary high-power solid-state amplifier technology based on GaN technology and specialised Integrated Circuit (Monolithic Microwave Integrated Circuits) technology.
