Clarification of shareholding

             The Ninth Floor Plc ('the Company')
                              

Further  to an announcement made today, the 200,000 ordinary
shares acquired at 16p per share on 20 July 2000 were by the
Company  and not Mr Neil McClure as previously  stated.   Mr
McClure   therefore   holds   1,100,000   ordinary    shares
representing  2.23 per cent. of the Company's  issued  share
capital.

The   Company  will  cancel  the  200,000  ordinary   shares
acquired,  representing  0.41 per  cent.  of  the  Company's
issued share capital.
