As a result, the business is trading materially ahead of our expectations. Furthermore, the management of KSS now believes that the company will be strongly cash generative in 2004. At 30 September 2003, KSS's net cash was £4.2 million. KSS provides pricing and revenue management solutions for the retail and petroleum industries. Within the petroleum division, KSS has recently won a €2.1 million contract from a major European fuels retailer and has secured an extension to an existing licence agreement with a US fuels retailer. These transactions will continue to strengthen KSS's reference base. Within the retail division, KSS has won a £0.3m first stage order from a large US retailer. This customer relationship has allowed KSS to enhance its retail product offerings.
