Eurovestech PLC 26 January 2001 Eurovestech plc ('Eurovestech' or 'the Company') Appointment of non-executive director Eurovestech PLC announces that Alfred Johnson Elbrick, aged 62, has joined its board as a non-executive director. Mr Elbrick is a senior investment banker specialising in international technology businesses in Deutsche Bank's London office. He has been involved with many technology IPOs including those of Microsoft, Oracle, Sun Microsystems, Computer Associates and Infosys. Having attended Williams College and Georgetown University, Mr Elbrick became a Captain in the US Marine Corps and joined Alex. Brown in 1978 He was in charge of the firm's international activities for fourteen years from 1978 and established Alex. Brown's offices in London in 1986. BT Alex. Brown was acquired by Deutsche Bank in 1998. Mr Elbrick is currently a director of eMuse Corporation Limited, Lombard Medical plc, Pintos Global Services Limited, and ReadyTestGo Incorporated. In the past five years, he has also been a director of Bon Secours Health Systems Limited, Portfin.com Limited and Optimay GmbH. On 19th January, 2001, Portfin.com Limited, of which Mr Elbrick was a non-executive director and resigned on 31st July 2000, was placed into creditors' voluntary liquidation. Mr Elbrick has confirmed that this announcement contains all the information required under paragraph 16.8 (e) of the AIM Rules.
