               EUROVESTECH PLC ('Eurovestech' or 'the Company')


On 19th April, 2001 the Company received the following notification from
Kleinwort Benson Group Limited:


'Dresdner RCM Global Investors Holdings (UK) Limited ('DRCMH (UK)'), is an
indirect subsidiary of Dresdner Bank AG ('Dresdner').  The shares in DRCMH
(UK) are held by Dresdner Investments (UK) plc ('Dresdner Investments'), a
wholly-owned direct subsidiary of Zenon Beteiligungs GmbH ('Zenon') which is
itself a wholly-owned direct subsidiary of Dresdner.


DRCMH (UK) is the holding company of Dresdner RCM Global Investors (UK)
Limited ('DRCM (UK)').  As a result of Section 203(2) of the Companies Act
1985 ('the Act') Dresdner, Dresdner Investments and Zenon are interested in
Eurovestech plc ordinary 1p shares in which DRCM (UK), together with its
subsidiaries, is interested.


We refer to our letter dated 4th April and have to advise you that the total
interest disclosed was incorrect, due to the double-counting of 700,000
shares.  The interest of Dresdner RCM Global Investors (UK) Limited was
similarly incorrect.  Please accept our apologies for this error.


Following sales on 12th April totalling 286,000 shares, we hereby notify you
that the disclosable interest of Dresdner, Dresdner Investments and Zenon in
the share capital of your company amounts of 39,814,000 shares representing
17.99 per cent. (previously 18.44 per cent.) of the issued share capital of
221,300,000 shares.


The present position in respect of the disclosable interests of the
subsidiaries of Dresdner Investments is as follows:


Dresdner RCM Global Investors (UK) Limited is interested in 39,019,005 shares
representing 17.63 per cent. (previously 18.12 per cent.) of the issued
capital.


Whilst these shares are not beneficially owned by any of the above companies
we are advised that, in certain circumstances, we are required to disclose
these shareholdings pursuant to the Act.'
