EUROFIMA appoints Elena Bukina as Chief Financial Officer

EUROFIMA is pleased to announce the appointment of Elena Bukina as its new Chief Financial Officer, effective 15 December 2025.

Ms Bukina brings nearly two decades of international finance and auditing experience. She began her career at Santander Bank in London and Madrid before joining PwC Zurich, where she spent five years in audit, serving as Manager on several multinational engagements. Following this, she founded her own consulting practice and subsequently held senior finance positions in the banking sector, most recently serving as Chief Financial Officer at GPB (Switzerland) Ltd., a Zurich-based financial institution.

A Swiss, Italian, and Russian national, Ms. Bukina is a Swiss Audit Expert and holds additional executive education from IMD Lausanne and MIT. Her expertise spans IFRS reporting, risk management, and financial strategy, making her a valuable addition to EUROFIMA's leadership team.

With her broad background and proven track record in finance, audit and regulatory compliance, Ms. Bukina will play a pivotal role in driving EUROFIMA's financial strategy and mission to provide sustainable financing for passenger rolling stock across Europe.
