 Transfer of Dealing from the Exploration Securities Market of the Irish Stock
                   Exchange to the Irish Enterprise Exchange


The Board of CPL Resources plc advises that, with effect from the start of
trading today, 12 April, 2005, its market of quotation on the Irish Stock
Exchange, will be transferred from the Developing Companies Market to the new
Irish Enterprise Exchange ('IEX').

Davy remains as Irish broker and will also act as IEX Adviser to CPL pursuant to
the IEX Rules.
