The British Land Company PLC (the "Company") announces that the Non-Executive Directors listed below were allotted shares of 25 pence each in the Company at a price of 696.3945 pence per share on 06 April 2016:

The allotments of shares to Lord Turnbull, William Jackson and Laura Wade-Gery were pursuant to their instructions to receive shares as part satisfaction of their Non-Executive Directors' fees. The allotments of shares to Tim Score, and Lynn Gladden were pursuant to their instructions to receive shares as full satisfaction of their Non-Executive Directors' fees.

The transactions referred to above took place in London and the Company was notified on 6 April 2016.

This notification is made in accordance with the requirements of DTR 3.1.4 R.
