Tideway, the company behind London's super sewer, announces that Roger Bailey has stepped down from his role as Executive Director and Chief Technical Officer with effect from 1 June 2026. This is a planned transition supported by the appointment of a new Senior Leadership team which is leading the organisation through its evolution into asset ownership.

Roger joined the Board in August 2021 after contributing to the project since 2012, where he played a key role in defining its technical requirements and integration with the existing Thames Water sewer network. A chartered civil engineer with over 40 years' experience, he has helped strengthen the Board's technical and commissioning focus as the project has progressed towards completion and handover.

The Board thanks Roger for his significant contribution and leadership during his tenure.
