Issue of new shares to the Equatorial Mining Employee Benefits Trust

Further to the announcement on 23^rd April 2015, the Company announces that it has issued 357,400,000 ordinary shares to the Equatorial Mining Employee Benefits Trust.

As a result of this the total number of shares in issue is 4,263,066,670
