AssetCo wins £4million North West Ambulance contract

AssetCo plc (AIM:ASTO), the integrated support services business, is pleased to announce that UV Modular, a wholly owned subsidiary, has been awarded a contract to supply ambulances to the North West Ambulance Service NHS Trust.

The Company will provide 'Modular Ambulances' over a two year period with the option to extend the contract under the PASA framework for a further 2 years.

The build contract is worth approximately £4m in the first year with the ongoing value of the second year yet to be determined.

Peter Mounsey, Managing Director of UV Modular said: 

'This contract win allows UV Modular to extend its supply of ambulances to the North West Ambulance Service following on from the previous contract for 45 vehicles in 2007-2008. We are delighted to be able to continue to provide our design and build capability to meet North West Ambulance Service's operational and clinical requirements.'
