DIRECTORATE CHANGE

UK, Winchester -  Arqiva Financing PLC (LON: 20CA) today announced that Mike Darcey is stepping down from his position as Chair of the Arqiva Board with immediate effect to prioritise other interests. Scott Longhurst will become Interim Chair ahead of confirming a permanent appointment.

Mike Darcey joined Arqiva in an advisory role in late 2017 before becoming a Non-Executive Director in September 2018. He was appointed Chair in February 2023.

Mike Darcey, Chair, said:

"Arqiva has made good progress over the last few years. We have a refreshed Board and much strengthened executive committee and leadership team delivering on our Vision 2031 strategy to diversify and grow the Company. Arqiva is a fantastic company, and it has been a privilege to serve as its Chair. But with my other Chair and Non-Executive Director roles, I know the time is now right for me to step down, focus on those commitments and pursue some other interests. I wish all my colleagues on the Board and in Arqiva continued success and good wishes for the future."

Shuja Khan, Chief Executive, said:

"I'd like to thank Mike Darcey for his leadership since joining Arqiva. During that time, we have made significant shifts in our business, including establishing a burgeoning Utilities business - securing key contracts with multiple water companies, as well as moving to a hybrid media and broadcast strategy allowing us to tap into new global markets. His support and commitment have been hugely appreciated and he leaves with our very best wishes.

Scott Longhurst, Director, said:

"On behalf of the Board, I would like to express our gratitude to Mike for his commitment and valuable contribution during his tenure as Chair. He has chaired Arqiva through an important period and we wish him well in all his other endeavours."
