Shareholding update

Further to the announcement on 17 March 2009, the Company announces that it has now finalised the settlement arrangements with Viso Gero Global Inc and the Company is now interested in 85 million ordinary shares in Vatukoula Gold Mines plc ("VGM") representing 4.47% of VGM's existing share capital.
