Accent Group* publishes Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) Report for 2025/26

Accent Group, a national provider and developer of affordable housing, has published its fourth Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) report. In 2025/26, Accent have made further progress across all three areas of ESG. More than 87% of existing homes now have an EPC rating of C or above, while almost 90% of new homes were built to EPC A standard. The organisation completed retrofit works to 84 homes, continued delivery of its Sustainability Strategy and generated £497,658 of social value through its partnership with Lightning Reach.

Accent also strengthened support for customers, securing £337,006 in income gains through one-to-one financial inclusion support. Satisfaction among low-cost rental customers increased by 4.5 percentage points, and the organisation continued to develop opportunities for customers to influence services through its customer engagement framework. Accent retained its top G1/V1 regulatory ratings, reduced its median gender pay gap to 8.1%, secured £120,000 through the Social Housing Innovation Fund for a customer-led project, and continued to invest in colleague development through its leadership and professional development programmes.
