Martello Update

Summary by AI BETAClose X

Richmond Hill Resources Plc has announced an initial five-day field program at Martello, focusing on validating and sampling the New Church Lake, Sakoose, and Maw targets to confirm or improve historical gold values. The program aims to provide field validation, new assay results from priority mineralized zones, and a better understanding of the potential structural relationship between Sakoose and Maw, which historical reports suggest may be part of the same mineralized system. This work is expected to refine the company's geological model and support future exploration planning.

Martello Update

Initial Field program

Richmond Hill Resources is pleased to announce an initial field program at Martello.     The proposed field program will consist of approximately 5 days in the field, focused on validation and selective sampling of the New Church Lake, Sakoose, and Maw targets. The main objective of the program is to collect the best possible samples from priority areas in order to confirm, support, or potentially improve the gold values reported in historical exploration work.

The field program will focus mainly on the following target areas:

New Church Lake

Approximately 2 to 3 field days are expected to be dedicated to the New Church Lake area. Work will focus on validating known mineralized zones, reviewing the geological and structural setting, and collecting selective samples from the best available mineralized exposures.

Sakoose and Maw

The remaining field time will focus on the Sakoose and Maw areas. Fieldwork will aim to evaluate this possible relationship, confirm the continuity of favourable structures where exposed, and collect high-quality samples from mineralized veins, shear zones, or altered outcrops.

This work is expected to provide:

Field validation of the New Church Lake, Sakoose, and Maw targets.

New assay results from selected high-priority mineralized zones.

A better understanding of the possible structural relationship between Sakoose and Maw.

Hamish Harris commented:   "Several historical geological reports have suggested that Sakoose and Maw may form part of the same mineralised system. More recently, our independent 3D magnetic interpretation identified Sakoose as the highest-priority exploration area within the Martello Project and has provided a structural framework within which these historical interpretations can now be evaluated.

This programme advances the targets that are ready for immediate fieldwork, focusing on the key Sakoose and Maw exposures to further assess their possible geological relationship, together with the New Church Lake target, where historical sampling reported high-grade gold values. The results will help refine our geological model and support planning for the next phase of exploration."
