                        Share price movement and update                        

The board of Ceres (AIM: CMI) notes the recent movement in the Company's share
price and confirms that it is not aware of any reason for this movement.

As disclosed in the Company's admission document, published 2 September 2011,
the Group has developed a range of cost-effective, compostable and sustainably
sourced print materials, focussed on retail point of sale and advertising print
media which is marketed under the NatureWovenTM trade name.

Following positive feedback from trials that have occurred at a number of key
printers in the UK, Sweden, Ireland and the USA, together with initial campaign
orders via the Company's distributors by two international retailers, the Group
believes it is in a strong position to continue to expand its client base in
the market.

The Group continues to expand its print material distribution partners across
Europe and the USA and now has representation in three European countries and
twenty two states in the USA. The Group is in advanced discussions with a
number of other print material distributors in other territories in relation to
stocking the Company's range of products.
