The estimated un-audited net asset value, calculated in accordance with the
guidelines of the Association of Investment Companies, for Finsbury Growth &
Income Trust PLC at the close of business on 29 December 2008 was 198.01p (ex
income) 199.85p (cum income).

The estimated un-audited net asset value, assuming the reissue of all of the
2,003,750 shares currently held in treasury, at the closing mid-market share
price on 29 December 2008 was 197.78p(ex income) 199.55p (cum income).
