The Company announces that it has received the following notification from SVM
Asset Management Limited dated 7th June, 2004;

'We hereby given you notice in accordance with Section 198 of the Companies Act
1985 that, following the purchase of 1,500,000 Shares in the Company on 3 June
for one our clients, there are the following interests in the share capital of
the Company:-

 a. Scottish Value Trust plc has the following beneficial interest in the share
    capital of the Company:-
