APPOINTMENT OF NON-EXECUTIVE DIRECTORS

Cornish Metals plc (AIM: TIN) (“Cornish Metals” or the “Company”), a mineral exploration and development company focused on advancing its wholly owned and permitted South Crofty tin project (“South Crofty”) in Cornwall, United Kingdom, is pleased to announce the appointment of Hennie Faul and Danny Callow as independent Non-Executive Directors of the Company with effect from 1 October 2026.

Hennie Faul is a qualified mining engineer with over 30 years’ experience in the industry. He has held operational, project execution and ESG leadership roles in 11 countries across five continents, covering both open pit and underground operations.

Mr Faul joined Anglo American in 2004 as a principal mining engineer and spent 15 years with the business, leading its zinc operations before becoming Group Head of Mining. From August 2013 to July 2019 he was CEO of Anglo American’s Copper Business, with responsibility for operations and projects in Chile and Peru, including taking the Quellaveco project in Peru into execution. He is currently a Non-Executive Director of London-listed ACG Metals Limited and Atalaya Mining Copper S.A., Johannesburg-listed Master Drilling Group Limited, and Valterra Platinum Limited, which is listed in both Johannesburg and London. He served on the board of Centamin plc until its acquisition by AngloGold Ashanti in 2024.

Danny Callow is a chartered engineer with over 30 years’ experience in mine development and operations. He graduated in mining engineering from the Camborne School of Mines in 1993 and began his career underground in South Africa, later working in mining services and as a mining analyst before moving into operational leadership in Zambia and the Democratic Republic of Congo.

Mr Callow was CEO of Mutanda Copper Mine in the Democratic Republic of Congo, taking the operation from exploration into production, and subsequently CEO of Mopani Copper Mines in Zambia. From 2015 he was Head of Africa Copper Operations for Glencore, with responsibility for the group’s African copper operations and for due diligence on new projects, and served as CEO of Katanga Mining.

He joined African Gold Group in 2019, becoming President and CEO the following year and taking the company through a definitive feasibility study at the Kobada gold project and a re-listing as Toubani Resources Limited, where he is now a Non-Executive Director. From 2022 to 2024 he was a director and Chief Operating Officer of Consolidated Copper Corp, where he rebuilt the operating team and restarted a previously closed copper operation in Namibia. He was appointed an independent Non-Executive Director of AIM-listed KEFI Gold and Copper plc in September 2026. He holds an MBA from Henley Management College and is a Fellow of the Institute of Materials, Minerals and Mining.

The appointments further strengthen the Board’s operating and technical experience as Cornish Metals advances South Crofty through construction and towards production.

Hennie Faul, incoming Non-Executive Director, added:

Danny Callow, incoming Non-Executive Director, said:

“I trained at the Camborne School of Mines and knew South Crofty as a student, so helping to bring it back into production will be a highlight of my career. Much of my career has been spent restarting mines, and I look forward to contributing to the operational readiness work which is already underway.”

ABOUT CORNISH METALS

Cornish Metals is a mineral exploration and development company that is advancing the South Crofty critical mineral project towards production. South Crofty:

• is a historical underground tin mine located in Cornwall, United Kingdom and benefits from existing mine infrastructure including multiple shafts that can be used for future operations;
• is the highest grade known tin Mineral Resource not in production with significant near-mine and regional Mineral Resource potential;
• is permitted to commence underground mining (valid to 2071), construct a new processing facility and for all necessary site infrastructure;
• is expected to produce approximately 4,700 tonnes of tin-in-concentrate annually in the first five years of full production at lowest-quartile all-in sustaining costs over an initial 14-year mine life;
• will be a low environmental impact underground mine with zero surface tailings;

Tin is a Critical Mineral as defined by the UK, American, and Canadian governments as it is used in almost all electronic devices, electrical infrastructure, renewable energy and AI. Approximately two-thirds of the tin mined today comes from China, Myanmar and Indonesia;
• benefits from strong local community, regional and national government support with a growing team of skilled people, local to Cornwall, and could generate over 300 direct jobs;
• is an opportunity for a secure domestic supply of tin in the UK supporting a low carbon economy.
