Tate & Lyle PLC (the ‘Company’) has been informed of the following
transactions by a Director and two Persons Discharging Managerial
Responsibilities (‘PDMR’) in respect of their interests in ordinary
shares of 25 pence each in the capital of the Company (‘Shares’):
Tim Lodge (Executive Director) exercised 135,010 nil-cost options
under the Company’s 2003 Performance Share Plan (‘PSP’). 63,678 Shares
were sold at 684.51 pence per Share to pay for exercise, tax and sale
costs. The balance of the Shares were retained and Mr Lodge now has an
interest in 388,854 Shares.
Robert Gibber (PDMR) exercised 117,431 nil-cost options under the PSP.
55,387 Shares were sold at 684.51 pence per Share to pay for exercise,
tax and sale costs. Mr Gibber retained all remaining Shares.
Rob Luijten (PDMR) exercised 79,412 nil-cost options under the PSP.
37,455 Shares were sold at 684.51 pence per Share to pay for tax and
sale costs. Mr Luijten retained the remaining Shares.
Awards made under the PSP are subject to the satisfaction of performance
conditions over a three year performance period, which in this case was
1 April 2011 to 31 March 2014.
All transactions occurred on the London Stock Exchange today.
This notification is made in accordance with DTR 3.1.4R(1)(a) of the
Disclosure and Transparency Rules.
