ISSUE OF EQUITY

London: 1 April 2011 – ECR Minerals plc announces that the Company has issued 1,363,636 ordinary shares of 0.1p par value (“Shares”) pursuant to the conversion of convertible loan notes totalling £15,000 based on a conversion price of 1.1p per share.

Pursuant to this announcement application has been made for 1,363,636 Shares to be admitted to trading on AIM. Dealings are expected to commence on 7 April 2011. Following admission of these shares the Company will have a total of 535,462,223 Shares in issue.
