Statement Regarding Offer for Darty plc by Conforama Investissement SNC

 

 

Groupe Fnac ("Fnac" or the "Company") notes today's announcement in relation to Conforama Investissement SNC's ("Conforama") recommended cash offer for Darty plc ("Darty"). This follows Darty's announcement on 2 March 2016 that it had received an approach from Conforama in relation to a possible offer for Darty of 125 pence per share in cash. Fnac is currently considering its position and urges Darty's shareholders to take no action.

 

This announcement will be made available on the Fnac website, www.groupe-fnac.com, in accordance with Rule 26.1(b) of the City Code on Takeovers and Mergers.
