As part of the transaction DPG has agreed to pay £24 million to have a 75% stake in a newly formed company whose assets will consist of all the franchisee's operations being 25 existing Domino's stores in London. About Domino's Pizza Group plc

Domino's Pizza Group plc is the UK's leading pizza brand and a major player in the Irish market. We hold the master franchise agreement to own, operate and franchise Domino's stores in the UK, the Republic of Ireland, Switzerland, Luxembourg and Liechtenstein. In addition, we have a controlling stake in the holders of the Domino's master franchise agreements in Iceland, Norway and Sweden, as well as an associate investment in Germany. As at 25 June 2017, we had 1,130 stores across six markets.

Since opening the first Domino's store in the UK in 1985, we now have around 1,000 stores across the country and over 35,000 team members, each helping to make and deliver our freshly handcrafted pizzas.  In November 2016, we increased our long term store target for the UK to 1,600 and to 400 stores for markets outside of the UK (excluding our German associate investment).

There are hundreds of millions combinations on our menu, all bursting with great quality ingredients like vine-ripened tomato sauce, creamy mozzarella and our signature fresh dough. As well as having a great tasting product, we're relentless in our pursuit of technology to make our customers' lives that little bit easier. Customer insights remain at the heart of all great innovation at Domino's.

We're driven by our brand purpose "to feed the power of possible, one pizza at a time". This desire to never standstill underpins the entrepreneurial spirit of our franchisees, our dedication to innovation and commitment to keeping promises. Together, it drives us to achieve our vision to be "the number one pizza company in the world and in every neighbourhood".

Founded in 1960, Domino's Pizza is the recognised world leader in pizza delivery, with a significant business in carryout pizza. Its system is primarily comprised of independent franchise owners, and has a global enterprise of 14,200 stores in over 85 international markets (as at 18 June 2017).
