Product Launch

                               Ultima Networks plc

                                 Product Launch

Lightweight Electric Bicycles - high performance, patented new technology

Ultima Networks plc (`Ultima' or the `Company'), which develops and markets
consumer and specialist electrical goods through its Products Division, is
pleased to announce the launch of its new brand of high-end electric bikes: the
Infineum range.

Interest from retailers during pre-marketing has been buoyant, given the
technological shift of these bicycles over any known competition. The Company
expects that the Infineum range will lead to a significant contribution to sales
in the Products Division during 2009.

The Company has seen strong sales for its complete range of electric bicycles
and demand has exceeded expectations, as announced in last week's Trading
Update. It is expected that the launch of the Infineum range will have a
positive impact on sales flow as new customers are attracted and existing
customers upgrade to the new models.

Ultima's Product Division is committed to delivering brands and goods that
promote renewable energy and "green" technology. The British-designed Infineum
brand sits at the top of Ultima's electric bike range with its unique patented
stackable battery which allows for more travel distance on a single charge, as
extra batteries are stacked on. Moreover, given the discrete size of the quiet
motor in the front hub and batteries housed on the rear rack, the bikes have
received acclaim from potential customers for their `street' looks. At
yesterday's launch the bike and its new technology were very well received.

The Directors will provide a further update with the Interim Results in

The Infineum Extreme incorporates quality components throughout, including
Shimano Alivio gears and brake sets, Rock Shox shock absorbers and a Cane Creek
headset. A back lit bicycle computer shows battery level and speed mph. The
Extreme is based on a lightweight aluminium frame and weighs just 20kg including
the battery (based on Lithium Polymer technology), which is of a unique patented
design allowing for extra battery packs to be stacked on, multiplying the travel
distance of a single charge. The efficient lightweight motor has an outstanding
80% efficiency for maximum power utilisation, and each battery can deliver 25-33
miles of Power Assisted Cycling - hence stacking four batteries will allow the
rider about 120 miles on just one charge. The Infineum Extreme incorporates
Triple mode operation, providing a choice of modes: a twist grip throttle
provides power without any pedalling (up to 15mph), "Pedal assist" gives
effortless cruising while pedalling, or normal cycling without any power. The
throttle will operate while using pedal assist or cycling to boost power for
tackling hills or rapid take-off as required.
