                           IAN MCCULLOCH TO LEAVE ITV

Ian McCulloch is to step down from his role as Commercial Director at ITV plc
this summer it was announced today.

Ian was appointed Commercial Director in September 2005 and since then has
overseen major developments in the commercial team including the restructure and
rebranding of ITV Sales as ITV Customer Relations. He has also increased ITV's
focus on the client-facing side of the commercial operation and oversaw the
creation of ITV Imagine, a department that supports creative and innovative
efforts across all areas of the Company, and the expansion of the marketing and
insight teams

Ian has also played a central part in the consolidation of the ITV companies in
recent years, holding senior operational roles during the mergers and subsequent
restructures of LWT and Granada and the creation of a single ITV in 2002.

Ian McCulloch said: 'After 27 years with ITV it feels like the right time for me
to explore new opportunities. The creation of a single ITV sales operation and
the organisational restructures and strategy realignment involved in achieving
that has been a great a challenge. We now have a refocused sales structure and
marketing operation that reflect the needs of our customers much more
effectively. With those changes in place and the new strategy bearing fruit it's
time for me to face some fresh challenges elsewhere.'

John Cresswell said: 'Ian has made an outstanding contribution to ITV in his
long career here. More recently he has put in place an excellent team and
started a culture change and ITV now has a better and more constructive
relationship with its customers than ever before. As a colleague and a friend
we wish him all the very best for the future.'

Notes to Editors:

Ian McCulloch joined the ITV companies in 1980 as a sales assistant at LWT were
he eventually became agency sales director. In 1994 he became Operations
Director for Granada Enterprises before becoming Commercial Director for Granada
Broadband in 1999. He was promoted to Operations Director for Granada
Broadcasting three years later and then Chief Operating Office of ITV Broadcast
in 2001.

After returning from Harvard in 2005, Ian -- working alongside John Cresswell --
headed up Fast Forward, a project leading to a major organisational restructure
of ITV. This restructure was designed to build better integration between the
commercial and editorial areas of the Company and place advertisers and their
needs, in addition to viewers, at the heart of the business.
