Total Produce agrees to acquire 65% of Oppenheimer Group

Total Produce said it has completed an agreement to acquire a 65% majority shareholding in Vancouver-headquartered Oppenheimer group. The fresh produce company has acquired an initial 35% stake in Oppenheimer, and a further 30% will follow in 2017 at a price to be determined on future profits. Total Produce did not state how much it paid for the initial 35%. Oppenheimer is a North American fresh produce distribution and marketing company.
