TClarke profits

Building services group TClarke's underlying operating profit for the six months to the end of June was £1.4m, up from £1.1m last time. Revenues rose to £112.0m (30th June 2014: £109.8m) and operating margins increased to 1.3% (30th June 2014: 1.1%). The group's £320m forward order book is up 16% on the same time last year (30th June 2014: £275m) and onsite works are to commence on the large London schemes at Rathbone Square, Principal Place and London Wall Place. Chief executive Mark Lawrence said: "The Group looks forward to the improving market conditions particularly with our forward visibility for next year and beyond. "Our order book now stands at a strengthened £320m and provides a platform to grow the business and improve the profitability of the Group." Story provided by
