By BFN News | 07:25 AM | Tuesday 08 August, 2017

Building services group TClarke's forward order book rose to £392 million in the six months to the end of June - up from £320m a year ago. Revenues were up 17% at £142.8 million and year on year net cash improved from £1.3 million to £2.4 million. Underlying operating profits were up 6% at £2.9m and the group declared an interim dividend of 0.6p per share - up 20%. Looking ahead the group said: "It is pleasing to note that in spite of the uncertain economic and political climate, we have continued to grow our order book with good quality work and improving margins across most of our regions and a significant uplift in our core London and South East operations. "Actions to address areas of the business with lower revenues than expected are in hand, coupled with targeted expansion in areas of the country where we are underrepresented. "Our market reputation for operational excellence and successful delivery of the most complex assignments underpins our optimism for the future." Story provided by
