By BFN News | 07:08 AM | Monday 04 November, 2019

Advertising company S4 Capital said its gross profit rose 50% in the third quarter amid stronger sales. Gross profit for the three months through September rose to £42.1m, amid a 54% rise in revenue to £56.6m. On a like-for-like basis, revenue and gross profit rose 48% and 44%, respectively. S4 Capital said it continued to trade in line with its forecasts and objectives for 2019. It also said that it had prepared a three-year plan for the period 2020-22 and preliminary budgets for 2020, which indicated continued progress also in line with its objectives. 'We continue to trade in line with ambitious internal and external expectations, both top and bottom line,' executive chairman Martin Sorrell said. 'Our very strong organic growth of well over 40%, so far this year, indicates that clients are responding very well to our purely digital, unitary, 'holy trinity' model of first party data fueling digital content and programmatic.' 'As our new content and media partners, Firewood, based in Silicon Valley put it, 'speed, quality and value' are key.' 'The mergers and asset purchase we have completed, so far this year, will broaden and deepen our capabilities and client relationships and convert clients to scale.' 'The peanut has morphed into a pumpkin in time for Halloween 2019 and we have also achieved US$ unicorn status.' Story provided by
