FastForward net assets grow on cannabis investment, but weaker crypto markets keep lid on growth

By BFN News | 10:14 AM | Wednesday 11 September, 2019

FastForward reported a rise in net assets, driven by gains from the company's first medicinal cannabis investment in the first half of the year, though weakness in cryptocurrencies kept growth in check. For the year ended 31 March 2019, net asset value grew 40.9% to £19.1m and increased 16% on a per share basis to 11.81p from 10.18p. Significant value creation across was generated in the last 12 months, driven by the 'successful realisation of the company's first medicinal cannabis investment in the first half of the year,' FastFoward said. But uncertainty in the crypto currency and block chain space in the second half of the year tempered performance resulting in a comparatively modest uplift in net assets per share to 11.81p, the company added. At 10:14am: (LON:FFWD) Fastforward Innovations Ltd share price was -0.35p at 6.7p Story provided by StockMarketWire.com
