Colefax expects marking conditions to become more challenging - especially in the UK and Europe - as it starts its improtant autumn selling season. Chairman David Green says the group's trading performance in all its major markets has been broadly in line with expectations since the final results in July. He added: " In our core fabric division, sales for the four months to 31 August increased by 4% on a constant currency basis. "In August we successfully completed the move of our US operations to new warehouse and office premises in New York.
