B.P. Marsh & Partners NAV per share slips after capital raising

Financial services business investor B.P. Marsh & Partners said its net asset value per share fell in the first half, after it raised more capital via a share placing. NAV per share fell to 333p at 31 July, down from 339p at 1 January. The group's NAV, however, rose to £120.1m, up from £88.8m, as the value of its equity portfolio increased by 6.7% and it raised £16.6m from the placing. B.P. Marsh & Partners said it intended to pay a dividend of 'at least' 4.76p per share for the current year ending 31 January 2019. Last year, it paid 4.76p. 'The performance of our portfolio of eighteen investments has been pleasing during the period with the majority of our investments delivering strong returns,' chairman Brian Marsh said.
