                    ('The Weather Lottery' or the 'Company')

                              Placing of New Shares

The Company today announces that it has placed 33,333,334 new ordinary shares of
0.1p  each  (the "Placing Shares") at a price of 0.3p per share with certain  of
its  Directors and other individuals. The placing has raised gross  proceeds  of
£100,000  for  the  Company  which  will be used  for  general  working  capital
purposes.  An application has been made for the shares to be admitted to trading
on AIM with effect from 22 April 2010.

The  Board  considers it prudent to undertake this placing to provide additional
working  capital.  This will allow the Board to investigate and  if  appropriate
pursue  other  opportunities in the gaming sector as stated  in  the  Chairman`s
statement  which  accompanied the announcement of the interim results  on  April
15th 2010.

**  Following the placing, Mr. John Michael Botros will hold 18,307,846 ordinary
shares (out of 20,641,179 ordinary shares) as trustee for Property Inspection  &
Validation Services Limited, a related party of Mr. Botros as defined by the AIM
Rules.

***  Mr.  Jeffrey  Selwyn Williams' holding is held by the J. Williams  personal
pension fund, of which Mr. Jeffrey Selwyn Williams is the sole Beneficiary.  The
trustees of the pension fund are AJ Bell Management Limited.

The  Placing  Shares will rank pari passu with the existing ordinary  shares  in
issue.  Following the issue of the Placing Shares and their subsequent admission
to trading on AIM the Company will have 132,638,071 ordinary shares of 0.1p each
in issue.

In   accordance   with  the  transitional  provisions  of  the  Disclosure   and
Transparency  Rules  of the Financial Services Authority, the  Company  confirms
that,  following  this  issue,  its issued share capital  comprises  132,638,071
ordinary  shares  of  0.1p each. All of the ordinary shares  have  equal  voting
rights and none of the ordinary shares are held in Treasury. The total number of
voting rights in the Company is therefore 132,638,071.

This  figure may be used by shareholders as the denominator for the calculations
by  which they will determine if they are required to notify their interest  in,
or  a  change to their interest in, the share capital of the Company  under  the
Disclosure and Transparency Rules.
