Appointment of Non-Executive Director
The Capita Group Plc ("Capita") announces the appointment of Dr Nigel Wilson as
a Non-Executive Director, with effect from 12 May 2010.
Nigel Wilson is Group Chief Financial Officer of Legal & General Group Plc,
appointed in September 2009. Prior to joining Legal & General, Nigel was Chief
Financial Officer of United Business Media Limited since 2001 and was
appointed as Deputy Chief Executive in 2008. Nigel is Senior Non-Executive
Director of Halfords Group plc. Previous appointments include Managing Director
of Viridian Capital plc, Group Finance Director at Waste Management
International plc, Chief Executive, Corporate, Guinness Peat Aviation (G.P.A.),
Head of Corporate Finance and Group Commercial Director of Dixons Group plc,
Managing Director of Stanhope Properties plc and a Consultant at McKinsey &
Co. Nigel has a PhD from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
Nigel will be appointed as Senior Independent Director and to the Nomination,
Remuneration and Audit Committees on appointment.
